     On 15th January 2013 Koło Naukowe Mediacji i Negocjacji "KoMiN" & Koło Naukowe Common Law (the Common Law Society) had the pleasure to invite all interested for a meeting with prof. Jill Womble.

Prof. Womble from the University of Florida gave us a lecture on Alternative Dispute Resolutions in the United States:
- who can be a mediator?
- can you earn a living on mediation?
- mediation - job or life mission?
- maintaining credibility as a mediator
- career ladder of a mediator
- should lawyers mediate?


     Prof. Womble has served as an adjunct professor since 2005, teaching Negotiation and Mediation, Mediation Advocacy, Mediation Skill, and Interviewing, Counseling and Negotiation at University of Florida Law Faculty. She received her JD from UF Law in 2003 and has previously worked at Florida Power & Light as an engineer. Most recently, Womble served as the chief negotiator for the City of Gainesville and Gainesville Regional Utilities on large construction projects and labor agreements, as well as doing consulting work for the city’s pension plan bargaining.
